"Pure happiness!"

“This vintage won hearts in 2022, and it enchants in 2024. Gravity-fed harvest, gentle pressing, native yeasts, aging in tanks—everything is done (and done very well) to preserve the Pinot’s pure fruit character. The nose? A rainbow: flowers (peony, iris), then fruit (cherry, raspberry), a hint of pepper, and a pinch of aromatic herbs (licorice). A pleasant sweetness envelops a supple palate that doesn’t overpower, but rather highlights the finesse of the tannins, the freshness of the fruit, and the smoothness of the texture. The finish, easy to drink and spicy, rounds out the tasting beautifully. A delight and a slap in the face to the vintage.” (Le Guide Hachette 2026)

About the estate:

Coming from a long line of winemakers who have lived in Menetou-Salon since the 16th century, Antoine de la Farge—an agricultural engineer and oenologist—joined the Domaine de l’Ermitage, founded by his parents (since renamed Dom. de la Fidélité and now farmed organically), in 2013. At the same time, he established his own wine merchant business, which specializes in the Central Loire appellations (Menetou-Salon, Sancerre, and Pouilly-Fumé). Since 2019, he has also been managing Dom. Chavet (Menetou-Salon).
