"The expression of a unique terroir!"

"This wine, traditionally aged on lees for 2 years in underground concrete vats, then transferred to wood for a further 2 years, delivers a Goulaine of total plenitude. The nose opens with fine plant and broom notes, topped off with a touch of toast. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, fat and supple, with a halo of fresh citrus notes. Great harmony, both fine and powerful, it will go well with a fish terrine or a Beaufort or Comté cheese". (Guide Hachette 2026).

About the wine:

Traditionally matured on lees for 2 years in underground concrete vats, then aged in wood for a further 2 years, this is a Goulaine of total plenitude. The nose opens with fine plant and broom notes, topped off with a touch of toast. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, fat and supple, with a halo of fresh citrus notes. A harmonious wine, both fine and powerful, to match a fish terrine or a Beaufort or Comté cheese.

About the domain :

The Delaunay family has been growing vines on the Loroux-Bottereau estate for several generations, and Florent took over the reins of this 30-hectare estate in 2020. Organic conversion is underway.

About the wine:

This is a luxurious wine. Golden in color, it has a fragrant nose of apple pie, orange marmalade and spiced pear compote, with hints of tangerine zest. The unctuous palate reveals rich fruity aromas and a depth that quickly whets the appetite for a second sip. Pair with grilled meats and evening roasts.
