"A refined treat—a truly beautiful Muscadet sur Lie!"

“From the moment it’s opened, the classic notes of citrus and white flowers are immediately captivating. Powerful and well-balanced, with superb freshness, this Sèvres-et-Maine then unfolds into a full-bodied, rich palate, enlivened by a long, briny finish. An intense and distinguished wine, with admirable harmony.” (Le Guide Hachette 2027).

About the wine:

From the very first sip, the classic notes of citrus and white flowers captivate immediately. Powerful and well-balanced, with superb freshness, this Sèvres-et-Maine then unfolds into a full-bodied, rich palate, enlivened by a long, briny finish. An intense and distinguished wine, with admirable harmony.

About the estate:

Saint-Julien-de-Concelles overlooks the Loire Valley and the market garden lands where, among other crops, lily of the valley and Nantes lamb’s lettuce are grown. The Pétard family has been cultivating vineyards there since the 19th century on hillsides with mica schist soils. Vincent Pétard joined his parents in 2004. Ten years later, after they retired, he went into business with his childhood friend Christophe Bazile. Together, they cultivate 25 hectares, a third of which is in the process of converting to organic farming.
