Domaine Tabordet
This 19-hectare family estate is located in Verdigny, in the Pouilly Fumé and Sancerre appellations. The Tabordet estate was taken over in 2008 by Gaël, son of Yvon, and Marius, son of Pascal, with whom they acquired the necessary experience to succeed the estate.
Domaine Tabordet 's terroir consists mainly of limestone, marl and flint, enabling the production of different expressions of Sauvignon, the region's star white grape variety. With a view to working in harmony with the environment, the two men are in the process of converting to organic farming.

"A beautiful cuvée imprinted with the flinty terroir, fruity, fresh and rich!"

This Sauvignon from limestone soil reveals an intense nose with a broad aromatic palette of floral, citrus, pear and fresh pepper notes. On the palate, the attack is straightforward, with lemony accents, followed by a chalky mid-palate ending on a hint of bitterness.

The nose expresses heady flowers, pastry and verbena, then with aeration reveals a rich, solar profile. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, fluid and acidic, with yellow and white fruits and a saline finish accented by citrus zest.
