The nose expresses heady flowers, pastry and verbena, then with aeration reveals a rich, solar profile. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, fluid and acidic, with yellow and white fruits and a saline finish accented by citrus zest.

About the domain :

Located in the village of Verdigny, this organic estate (16 hectares of Pouilly-Fumé, five hectares of Sancerre), created in the 1960s by Raymond Tabordet, is now run by his two sons, Yvon and Pascal, who have expanded it. Today, Pascal works with his son Marius and nephew Gaël. The wines are straight to the taste with just the right amount of complexity.

Domaine noté (guide 2025) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).

About the domain :

Marius Tabordet is part of a young generation that's shaking things up lines in Pouilly-Fumé (16 ha) and Sancerre (6 ha). He has won the confidence of his father Pascal and initiated the change to organic farming (certification in 2021), then began the conversion to biodynamic viticulture. Vinification and ageing have been adjusted to produce to produce freer-flowing wines, far removed from the narrow whites still found in the area. And the whole clientele has changed! The wines are closer to their terroir. The sincerity meticulousness, smooth flesh and gourmandise of these cuvées enchant us. The delicious "domaine" cuvées, both red and white both red and white. We also salute the work done to isolate cuvées by terroir type of terroir: in Pouilly-Fumé, Les Petites Aubues (limestone), Les Champs des Chaumes (Kimmeridgian marl), L'Autre Rive (flint); and in Sancerre, La Belle Oreille (limestone). Sancerre, La Belle Oreille (limestone). Welcome to the guide!
