"A remarkable Quincy, best enjoyed in good company"

“Often in the spotlight for its Sancerre wines, the estate has produced a remarkable and much-noted Quincy, fresh from the tanks where it aged for 8 months. Highly expressive, youthful, and with fermentative notes (English candy), the nose is bursting with fruit (peach, tropical fruits, orange). A subtle milky note weaves its way through a supple, smooth, and beautifully textured palate, leading to a zesty, tangy finish that lingers with lovely bitter notes. Vigorous, fragrant, and bursting with fruit, it makes the most of this “winemaker’s” vintage.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2026).

About the wine:

Often in the spotlight for its Sancerre wines, the estate has produced a remarkable and much-talked-about Quincy, fresh from the tanks where it aged for 8 months. Highly expressive, youthful, and with a fermented character (English candy), the nose is bursting with fruit (peach, exotic fruits, orange). A subtle milky note weaves its way through a supple, smooth, and beautifully textured palate, leading to a zesty, tangy finish that lingers with lovely bitter notes. Vigorous, fragrant, and bursting with fruit, it makes the most of this “winemaker’s” vintage.

About the estate:

After gaining extensive experience at his family’s winery in the Sancerre region and in several wine-producing countries, Anthony Girard, a native of Récy, took over this 17-hectare estate in 2012 and has made it one of the Sancerre region’s most reliable wines.
