"A remarkable Quincy, to be enjoyed in good company."

Often noted for its Sancerre wines, the estate has produced a remarkable and noteworthy Quincy, fresh from the vats where it has been aged for eight months. Very expressive, youthful, and fermented (English candy), the nose is bursting with fruit (peach, exotic fruits, orange). A slight milky touch slips into a supple, beautifully textured palate, opening onto a zesty, biting finish stretched out over lovely bitter notes. Vigorous, fragrant, bursting with fruit, it makes the most of this "winemaker's" vintage. (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2026).

About wine:

Often noted for its Sancerre wines, the estate has produced a remarkable and noteworthy Quincy, fresh out of the vats where it has been aged for eight months. Very expressive, youthful, and fermented (English candy), the nose is bursting with fruit (peach, exotic fruits, orange). A slight milky touch slips into a supple, beautifully textured palate, opening onto a zesty, biting finish stretched out over some very nice bitter notes. Vigorous, fragrant and bursting with fruit, it makes the most of this "winemaker's" vintage.

About the estate:

After gaining solid experience on his family's vineyard in Sancerre and in several wine-producing countries, Anthony Girard, a native of Récy, took over this 17-hectare property in 2012 and turned it into one of Sancerre's most reliable assets.

Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on 12/06/2025

A waltz of fruit accompanied by floral notes lines a full, rich palate, underscored by a delicate acidity and a minerality of the sea that propel a lively, fragrant finish. Enjoyed simply with cod fritters drizzled with lime juice and accompanied by a rougail sauce and a crisp green salad. Note #4.
