The Domaine de la Paleine, located in Puy-Notre-Dame, dates back to the 18th century and preserves its historic vineyards within a walled enclosure. Its tuffeau stone cellars stretch for 1.5 km, surrounded by beehives, a vegetable garden, and grain fields. Over the past thirty years, the estate has undergone a transformation under the leadership of its owners and cellar master Patrick Nivelleau, driven by a strong commitment to sustainable, high-quality viticulture. In 2023, Jean-Louis Bernet took up the torch, passionately continuing this winemaking journey rooted in respect for the terroir.

Domaine de la Paleine began its transition to organic farming in 2010, achieving certification in 2013, before adopting biodynamic farming in 2017, driven by a deep conviction in the vitality of living things.
