Domaine des Matines
The Matines estate is located in Brossay, close to Saumur and Puy-Notre-Dame, and owes its name to the Abbey of Asnières. This family estate covers 52 hectares and no fewer than 14 different appellations, highlighting the diversity of Loire wines: Saumur red, Saumur Puy Notre Dame, Saumur white, Saumur Champigny, Crémant de Loire, Bonnezeaux, etc.
In 2010, Michèle Mallard-Etchegaray handed over the keys to the estate to her sons Vincent and Hervé. The Matines cellars are full of treasures. Since 1955, all vintages have been stored in a large limestone cellar that is quite renowned in the region.
