2*Coup de Coeur

Hachette

The intense, almost black color suggests beautifully ripe grapes. The nose confirms this, offering lovely notes of bigareau cherry, blackcurrant, and blackberry. The palate, with its almost sweet roundness, generous, tight tannins, and well-balanced structure, enhances the aromatic range with subtle spicy fragrances. The density of the fruit and the exceptional length of this cuvée are sure to win you over."(Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2019)

About wine:

The palate, with its almost sweet roundness, generous, tight tannins, and well-balanced structure, enhances the aromatic range with subtle spicy fragrances. About the estate:

Michèle Mallard-Etchegaray, daughter of the founder, handed over the reins of the estate (52 hectares) to her sons, Vincent and Hervé, in 2010. The cellar, carved out of hard limestone, houses all the estate's vintage wines produced since 1950. A sure bet.
