Elephant Hill Winery
Established in 2003, Elephant Hill, located on the idyllic coast of Te Awanga (Hawke's Bay, North Island), owns three vineyards in the renowned sub-regions of Hawke's Bay: Te Awanga Vineyard (on the coast), Gimblett Vineyard in the Gimblett Gravels Winegrowers District (inland), and Triangle Vineyard in the Bridge Pa Triangle region.

Each vineyard has a different soil type and microclimate, givingElephant Hill wines their own unique personality. The terroirs are adapted to the grape varieties planted there and are composed of clay pebbles on ancient stony river beds.

Elephant Hill recycles wastewater from the cellar using its own biological water treatment system to obtain clean, high-quality water. Wildflowers have been planted in the vineyards, not only for aesthetic reasons, but also to attract insects that are beneficial to biodiversity.Elephant Hill's three vineyards are certified organic by the SWNZ (Sustainable Winegrowers of New Zealand).
