Clos Henri Vineyard - Sauvignon Blanc 2014
91/100
Robert Parker
In a style very much reminiscent of Sancerre, Clos Henri’s Sauvignon Blanc reveals intense aromas of ripe citrus and tropical fruits, all interwoven with a lovely minerality. It is more mature and rounded than New Zealand Sauvignons typically are, with notes of boxwood and gooseberry. It still retains the freshness of the Wairau Valley, bathed in sunshine and cooled by the sea breeze. A truly beautiful white wine!
