Casa do Valle
In 1987, Casa do Valle was established and continued the work begun by the De Sousa Botelho family, both in the vineyard and in the winery. In 1989, the first bottles from the Casa do Valle estate were released: a red and a white.
Casa do Valle’s vineyards stretch along the Tamega River, on soil composed of schist, granite, and loam.
The vineyard is planted exclusively with local grape varieties such as Loureiro, Azal, and Arinto for the whites, and Vinhao, Rabo de Ovelha, and Touriga Nacional for the reds.
