Planting on the clay-limestone terraces of the Val d'Arenc, the Château Barthès vineyard consists mainly of Mourvèdre—the king of grape varieties in Bandol—Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault for the reds and rosés; and Clairette, Ugni Blanc, Rolle, and Sauvignon for the whites.
