Planting on the clay-limestone terraces of the Val d'Arenc, the Château Barthès vineyard consists mainly of Mourvèdre—the king of grape varieties in Bandol—as well as Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault for the reds and rosés; and Clairette, Ugni Blanc, Rolle, and Sauvignon for the whites.
