"The color is deep and purple. Attractive and spicy nose of black pepper, garrigue, leather, and layers of ripe black fruit. Full on the palate with good volume, easy to drink, and fresh black fruit with already rounded tannins, long and persistent finish, great purity and potential." (Andreas Larsson 2022)

Wine rated (2023 guide) 93/100

Rated estate (2023 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Planted in 1980 and purchased in 2010 by Caroline and Philippe Chauvin, this 15-hectare property, eight of which are in Bandol, is located on a hillside and is organized into terraces. Facing north, running down a fairly steep slope, the vineyard is rising from the ashes. With the construction of a beautiful winery, perfectly integrated into the landscape, and the opening of a farmhouse inn offering a wide range of products from their own production, the estate takes the concept of hospitality and terroir very seriously.
