Made from Grenache Noir, Syrah, and Carignan grapes, this red Coteaux d'Aix reveals pronounced and delicate notes of blackcurrant, garrigue, and wild strawberries on the nose. A pleasurable wine that offers suppleness, character, and balance, with a beautiful tannic presence. Enjoy it with lamb navarin or osso buco, for example.

Rated estate (2015 guide) Selected (An estate or winery that impressed us with one or more of its wines, but where we are unable to give an overall opinion on the style of the entire range)

About the estate:

The Terrat family has converted this large estate in Lambesc to biodynamic farming. The red wines are in good shape, and the 2009 vintage has all the richness and freshness you could want.

A balanced wine, fairly full-bodied, but without any particular character. Value for money rating: 3.00
