Château Bas
Situated on an ancient Gallo-Roman city steeped in history, in the heart of the Aix-en-Provence vineyards, the Château Bas has many attractions. The 65-hectare vineyard is composed of two distinct terroirs, one deep, silty around Château Bas and the more stony Badasset terroir, in the shape of a cirque backing onto the Guillène cliff.

Since 2010, the entire Château Bas vineyard has been farmed organically to promote soil life and preserve biodiversity. The three main red grape varieties are Grenache, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Syrah, complemented by Cinsault, Mourvèdre and Counoise. White wines are made mainly from Sauvignon, Rolle, Grenache blanc, Ugni blanc, Clairette and Bourboulenc.

In 2020, the Castéja group, a major player in Bordeaux wines, acquired this incredible Provencal gem on a 300-hectare estate.
