Château Vignelaure

The first estate to introduce Cabernet Sauvignon to Provence in 1966, it inspired Eloi Dürrbach, who worked there for 2 years, and was taken over in 2007 by Scandinavian couple Mette and Bengt Sundstrøm, who launched the conversion of the vineyard to organic farming. The estate covers 280 hectares, 56 of which are planted with vines on stony clay-limestone soil at an altitude of between 350 and 400 meters. The estate is renowned for its red wines, which are aged for a minimum of 4 years, including 2 years in barrel, then bottled at the estate.
