Rated estate (2023 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

Owned by the Bolloré group, this 108-hectare cru classé has returned to the forefront thanks to judicious investments. La Bastide Blanche, owned by the same proprietor but much smaller, produces wines from 13 hectares of vines. The wines show good consistency across all colors, demonstrating consistent quality in winemaking. However, they still lack complexity and personality relative to their cru status.
