Tour du Bon Estate
The Domaine de la Tour du Bon in Bandol originally took its name from a watchtower that was built on the highest point of the site to protect the village, thus christening the place "Tour de Bon." Over time, the hard work and Favorites its occupants transformed this modest farm into a wine estate, part of the Bandol appellation. Domaine de La Tour du Bon is located in the far northwest of the Bandol appellation, facing the sea.

In this natural amphitheater between the sea and the mountains, the aridity of the location is fortunately tempered by the mild sea air. The altitude of the Domaine de la Tour du Bon's land, combined with the effects of the Mistral wind , ensures good sanitation from a phytosanitary point of view. Exceptional sunshine for 300 days a year and rainfall of around 400 mm annually create a unique microclimate where the king of red wine grape varieties, Mourvèdre, can express itself freely, reaching rare levels of maturity. The Domaine de la Tour du Bon vineyard is located on the hills of Castellet and Brulat. The vines are planted on a relatively homogeneous geological substrate consisting of marl and limestone. Draining heavy rains through its natural slope, the terroir has very good water regulation capacity. In these exceptional conditions, the grape varieties characteristic of the Bandol appellation flourish, producing red, rosé, and white wines from Provence of exceptional quality.

Since 2014, the estate has been certified organic.
