16,5/20 Coup de Coeur
RVF
"A high-quality wine. The wine is mature, without excess, with a certain freshness, a savory dimension, and good concentration. It is long and drawn out. " (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2020 - RVF) This original blend of 1/3 Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, and Syrah comes from Château des Tourettes, which has high-altitude terroirs (around 400m) with limestone-rich soils. Definitely worth a taste!

About wine:
A high-quality juice. The wine is mature, without excess, with a certain freshness, a savory dimension, and good concentration. It is long and drawn out.
About the estate:
Château des Tourettes has a beautiful vineyard on the Apt plateau. Maine and Jean-Marie Guffens have almost completely restructured the vineyard, affirming their desire to create a beautiful terroir through massal selection replanting. The wines are faithful to Jean-Marie Guffens' style, always offering a balance between ripe grapes and a mineral tension on the finish. Jean-Marie and Maine are refocusing production on whites and putting an end to the Guffens du Sud négociant business.
