About wine:
Châteauneuf-du-Pape is fragrant with wild strawberries and blood orange. Its fruit is full-bodied, with good structure.
About the estate:
The small estate of young Eugénie Avias, located at the southern tip of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, produces very fine wines from whole-cluster harvested grapes, in a perfectly mastered style. The terroirs range from sandy to rounded pebbles. The juices are pulpy and the textures delicate.

Typical of the appellation, but with a more restrained expression of power, as Margaux can be in comparison to its peers on the left bank. The wine is pure, very smooth, and elegant. A wonderful discovery.
