Domaine Mas Saint Louis
In the late 1900s, Jean-Louis Geniest consolidated the family’s vineyards to formDomaine Mas Saint Louis. The acquisition and renovation of the Maison Vigneronne in 1909, in the Clos district of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, accelerated the estate’s development, and it began vinifying its own harvests.
Louis Geniest, Jean-Louis’s grandson, subsequently took charge of acquiring new vineyard plots and exchanging others, with the aim of harmonizing the vineyard. Domaine Mas Saint Louis now spans more than 30 hectares in a single block.
This work was then taken over by his son Jean and is now carried on by his wife Monique, who manages Domaine Mas Saint Louis with a commitment to respecting the soil and the vines.
