"Definitely a great wine!"
"Given its dense character and black fruit aromas, you wouldn't think this wine came from the difficult 2021 vintage. Rich, velvety tannins complement a full-bodied palate. Beautifully complex, fleshy, and spicy. Bold finish. Not to be missed." (James Suckling 2023)

About wine:
From one of Vignon's consulting clients, the Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Anonyme 2021 is slightly less expressive on the nose than its CdP blend, but it has more cherry notes among the strawberries and pomegranates. It is full-bodied, rich, and concentrated, with a long, tannic finish. Although of roughly equivalent quality, it is quite different in style, with perhaps slightly greater aging potential. The blend is 60% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah, 5% Roussanne and Vaccarèse, 3% Muscardin, and 2% Counoise. Fermentation and aging take place in a wide variety of containers, including a significant proportion of amphorae.
