"Definitely a great wine!
"Given its dense character with black fruit aromas, this wine doesn't look like it comes from the difficult 2021 vintage. Rich, velvety tannins complement a full-bodied palate. Fleshy, spicy complexity. Bold finish. Not to be missed. (James Suckling 2023)

About the wine:
From just one of Vignon's consulting clients, Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Anonyme 2021 is slightly less expressive on the nose than its CdP blend, but shows more cherry notes among the strawberries and pomegranates. It is full-bodied, rich and concentrated, with a long, tannic finish. Although roughly equivalent in quality, it's quite different in style, with probably slightly greater ageing potential. The blend is composed of 60% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah, 5% Roussanne and Vaccarèse, 3% Muscardin and 2% Counoise. Fermentation and ageing take place in a wide variety of containers, including a significant proportion of amphorae.
