Domaine de l'Amauve - Laurances 2012
88/100
Robert Parker
16/20
Gault & Millau
“The 2012 Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Laurances offers lovely aromas, with soft notes of black fruit from the Grenache, accompanied by aromas reminiscent of leather and flowers. Enjoy this medium-bodied, supple, well-concentrated wine over the next 5 to 6 years. It still has a bit of tannin that needs to integrate, and will be better with another year in the bottle.” (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2016 guide): 2*Stars (A solid, recommendable wine, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous vintage)
About the estate:
In the Haut-Vaucluse region, nestled against the Dentelles de Séguret, the Domaine de l’Amauve is a distinguished representative of the appellation, led by the inspiring Christian Voeux. Deeply committed to sustainable viticultural practices, Voeux draws on the experience he gained at Château Mont Redon and also produces wine at Château La Nerthe in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. He sensitively brings out the character of the old vines growing on the estate’s 20 hectares of sandy and stony soil.
