Pélaquié Estate
Since the 16th century, the Pélaquié family has been cultivating vineyards in the Southern Rhône Valley. The estate is located in the town of St. Victor-la-Coste, on the right bank of the Rhône, and is certified as High Environmental Quality Level 3 (HVE 3). The Pélaquié estate spans nearly 100 hectares and produces two Rhône Valley wines, Lirac and Tavel, as well as Côtes du Rhône Villages Laudun and Côtes du Rhône.

One of the distinctive features of the Pélaquié estate is that nearly 30% of its vineyards are planted with white grape varieties. These include Bourboulenc, Clairette, Viognier, White Grenache, and Marsanne. For the reds, Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and a small amount of Counoise Noire are the estate’s primary grape varieties. The vineyards located in the Laudun AOP are terraced on stony and gravelly slopes or spread across the plain on sandy-clay soils composed of fossilized sediments. Luc Pélaquié and his sons are committed to producing well-rounded wines that are ready to drink, thanks in particular to a very precise ripening process and state-of-the-art winemaking techniques.
