"Good value for the money"

The 2019 Pélaquié Red (awarded 2* in the 2018 Guide Hachette) has a powerful nose and reveals lovely notes of black fruit and spices. The attack on the palate is round and elegant, with good length. The finish of this Grenache/Syrah blend offers smoky notes. It’s a wine with character, yet remains supple. A real bargain!

About the estate:

Saint-Victor-la-Coste lies at the foot of the ruins of Castellas, the medieval fortress of the Lords of Sabran. Since 1976, Luc Pélaquié has been managing this vast (98 ha) and historic (17th century) family estate, whose wines (Côtes-du-Rhône, Villages, Lirac, and Tavel) are regularly featured in the Guide.
