Domaine de Rochemond

The Domaine de Rochemond vineyard now covers more than 130 hectares of vines, mainly located in the commune of Sabran, in the Gard, one of the largest communes in the Côtes du Rhône. Located on the right bank of the Rhône, the vineyard is mainly spread over south/south-east facing slopes, benefiting from optimal sunshine. The terroirs are varied and stony (limestone and clay-limestone, ancient clay-siliceous and sandy terraces).

The wines of Domaine de Rochemond are all blends, favoring a balance of tannic structure and developed fruitiness. The estate cultivates the region's traditional grape varieties: Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah for the reds, and Bourboulenc, Clairette, and Viognier for the whites.   Domaine de Rochemond produces wines under the Côtes-du-Rhône and Côtes-du-Rhône Villages appellations.
