Grangeneuve Estate
The Domaine de Grangeneuve, a leading producer and pioneer of the Grignan les Adhémar AOP, was founded in 1964 in Roussas in the Drôme Provençale by Henri Bour and his wife, Odette. The choice of this terroir proved to be a wise one, as it allowed the Bour family to imbue their wines with a hallmark of exceptional quality: freshness, balance, elegance, fruitiness, and complexity have built Grangeneuve’s reputation. Its geographical location—and thus its climate—in the heart of the Rhône Valley is an undeniable asset that gives the wines a harmonious blend of the elegance of the North and the sunny, fruity charm of the South. Indeed, the Grignan les Adhémar AOP is the northernmost appellation in the southern Rhône Valley.

Today, the founders’ children and grandchildren passionately carry on the work they began, driven by the same commitment to quality. The average age of the vineyards at Domaine de Grangeneuve is 35 years (with the oldest vines reaching 60 years), featuring a high-quality mix of grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache Noir, Cinsault, and Marselan for red and rosé wines; and Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, and Rolle for white wines.

At Domaine de Grangeneuve, viticulture is sustainable and has held the Level 3 High Environmental Value certification since 2019. On this poor terroir, where only vines, truffle oaks, and lavender grow, yields are carefully controlled: between 30 and 40 hl/ha.
