Typical of Syrahs from the northern Rhône Valley, this cuvée from Domaine Faury offers aromas of fresh black and red fruits along with a hint of spice. On the palate, it is supple with soft tannins. A pleasantly fresh wine that pairs well with a variety of lamb dishes.

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated estate (2021 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)
About the estate:
The estate is located in Chavanay, in the hamlet of La Ribaudy, the ancestral home of the Faury family. Lionel Faury cultivates 18 hectares across the Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, and Côte-Rôtie appellations, as well as the Collines Rhodaniennes IGP. We particularly enjoyed the Saint-Josephs from recent vintages, which demonstrate that the northern part of the appellation has real potential.
