3*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
"An undeniable pleasure with every sip"
“Marselan, a cross between Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon, is the sole variety in this remarkable cuvée, which boasts a superb deep garnet color—as expected with this grape variety—and a captivating nose of candied cherry, blackcurrant paste, and cilantro. Supple on the palate, the wine delights with its juicy texture bursting with black berries, its tightly woven tannic structure, and a hint of acidity on the finish that enhances its highly approachable and flavorful character. While it is already ready to drink, it will also benefit from a little aging.” (Le Guide Hachette 2026)

About the wine:
Marselan, a cross between Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon, is the sole grape variety in this remarkable cuvée, which boasts a superb dark garnet color—as expected from this variety—and a captivating nose of candied cherry, blackcurrant paste, and cilantro. Supple on the palate, it delights with its juicy texture bursting with black berries, its tightly structured tannins, and a hint of acidity on the finish that enhances its highly approachable and savory character. While it is already ready to drink, it will also age well for a few years.
About the estate:
A 35-hectare vineyard located on the hills above Tulette, which was already planted with vines in the Middle Ages and has been in the Blanc family since 1937. In 2018, Étienne—representing the fourth generation—took over the estate and began the transition to organic farming, which was completed in 2024.
