Bettane & Desseauve

(Notes from the 2013 vintage)

Known for their complex floral aromas, Chardonnay, Roussanne, and Viognier come together in a cuvée with captivating white fruit aromas and subtle woody notes. The palate is rich, almost tropical, with a lingering finish. A "Grande Trilogie" that lives up to its name!

Rated estate (2022 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good-quality wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

Château des Tourettes has a beautiful vineyard on the Apt plateau. Maine and Jean-Marie Guffens have almost completely restructured the vineyard, affirming their desire to create a beautiful terroir through massal selection replanting. The wines are faithful to Jean-Marie Guffens' style, always offering a balance between ripe grapes and a mineral tension on the finish. Jean-Marie and Maine are refocusing production on whites and putting an end to the Guffens du Sud négociant business.
