In a very hot, south-facing climate, Rasteau l'Andéol allows the full power of the well-ripened Grenache to shine through. With a deep red color, it reveals a generous nose of stewed black fruits and kirsch-infused cherries, enhanced by spicy notes. The attack is clean and full-bodied, supported by firm tannins, spicy aromas, and a few floral notes… A fine example of the appellation!

About the estate:

Over the past 15 years, the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel has expanded by acquiring estates in the southern Rhône Valley. This strategy has proven successful both in the Luberon, with La Vieille Ferme, and in the other terroirs featured here. Their mastery of fermentation and appropriate aging techniques have played a major role in this success.
