About the estate:
All that remains of the building constructed in the 12th century by Cistercian monks is the magnificent tower nestled against the rock face. Jean and Bernard Dauré purchased the estate in 1974. The mid-19th-century silkworm farm now houses the Contemporary Art Space, which is located next to one of the first winegrowers’ restaurants established in France, open during the summer. The vineyard covers 90 hectares.

A beautiful golden-yellow color. The nose offers notes of ripe citrus, especially oranges. The palate is pleasant, with a hint of sweetness on the finish.

Very disappointed—none of the bitterness typical of an orange wine, lots of sugar, little aroma, some fruit but completely overshadowed by the sweetness. Meh, or even a bit pretentious. Tasted it again on 12/19/24 and was just as disappointed...
