Domaine Madeloc
In 2002, Rhône-Alpes winemaker Pierre Gaillard acquired Domaine Madeloc , a 29-hectare estate located in the communes of Banyuls, Cerbère and Port-Vendres, in the heart of the Roussillon region. Here he found a new opportunity to work on schist terroirs.

The Domaine Madeloc vineyard is planted with Grenache noir, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Carignan for the reds, and Grenache Blanc and Gris, Roussanne and Vermentino for the whites.

Domaine Madeloc produces around 60,000 bottles a year, divided between 11 Collioure and Banyuls cuvées: Trémadoc, Penya, Foranell, Serral, Magenca, Crestall, Asphodèles, Cirera, Terre-Mer, Robert Pagès and Solera.
