Aromatic and seductive. Fruity and concentrated without excessive alcohol.

Undoubtedly, the least we can say is that this Astre Rouge is impressive and shines with its opulence and full-bodied character. Frank from the outset, the wine bursts onto the palate with its solid tannic structure, releasing strongly acidic black fruit aromas (blackcurrant, blackberry, cooked prunes), contrasted by notes of spice and violet. The sustained liveliness continues on the finish, adding a touch of freshness. Score: 4.2. This cuvée, intended for lovers of southern wines with a strong personality, is best reserved for game dishes, or even a local dish such as févolade, especially as it is the peak season for fresh broad beans.
