"A concentrated red wine made from grapes grown on old vines".

The Vielles Vignes 2022 rouge du Clos des Fées has a nose of fresh red berries, and is exceptionally expressive, with hints of sweet spices in the background. Concentrated and aromatic on the palate, with silky tannins. Enjoy with country terrine or chicken "cocotte"...

About the domain :

Hervé Bizeul, winegrower and rebel writer, has little to prove: his estate is one of the Roussillon's elite. But that doesn't stop him from continually challenging himself, breaking new ground, innovating, thinking outside the box and creating new cuvées. A case in point is his pinot noir, which has come out of nowhere to bravely withstand the rigors of the Agly valley's sun and tramontana winds. Here, each cuvée has its own personality, sometimes uncompromising, in the image of its winemaker. From no less than 7 different terroirs comes a serious and diversified interpretation of Roussillon. A model of its kind.
