About the estate:
A discreet family estate located in Maury, the domaine has been in the hands of two brothers, Florent and Mathieu Semper, since 2015. The 27 hectares of vineyards are mainly spread across the black schist soils of Maury and the granite arenas of Lesquerde. The two winemakers built up this beautiful estate by buying up certain properties that had been abandoned, with beautiful, somewhat neglected vineyards at altitude.

Rich and complex, the palate mirrors the nose, revealing buttery aromas followed by essences of garrigue and notes of fruit and white flowers. Full-bodied and beautifully textured, it lingers on a round, deep finish accompanied by a pleasant mineral freshness. Average R.Q/P. The sapid profile and underlying fine acidity make Regain an ideal companion for pan-fried John Dory fillets with tomato and basil sauce, served with crunchy sun-ripened vegetables. Rating = 4.
