About the estate:
A discreet family-owned estate located in Maury, the property has been run by brothers Florent and Mathieu Semper since 2015. The vineyards, totaling 27 hectares, are mainly planted on the black schist soils of Maury and the granitic sandy soils of Lesquerde. The two winemakers built up this lovely estate by purchasing several abandoned properties, which included beautiful, though somewhat neglected, high-altitude vineyards.

Rich and complex, the palate echoes the nose, revealing buttery aromas followed by hints of garrigue and notes of fruit and white flowers. Full-bodied and beautifully textured, it lingers into a round, deep finish, accompanied by a pleasant mineral freshness. Medium body. Its savory profile and subtle underlying acidity make Regain an ideal pairing for pan-seared John Dory fillets in a tomato-basil sauce, served with crisp, sun-ripened vegetables. Rating = 4.
