"A Buzet with character—absolutely delicious!"

“A Buzet with a strong character on the nose—currently intensely smoky and roasted—that bears the mark of the oak. The oak generously envelops a concentrated, well-structured palate, richer in stewed red fruits and endowed with lovely freshness. A complete, full-bodied, ripe, and powerful wine, very much in keeping with the vintage, which will easily integrate its aging. Suitable for aging, it will evolve gracefully.” (Le Guide Hachette 2026).

About the wine:

A Buzet with a bold character on the nose—currently intensely smoky and roasted—that bears the mark of the oak staves. The oak generously envelops a concentrated, well-structured palate, rich in stewed red fruits and endowed with lovely freshness. A complete, full-bodied, ripe, and powerful wine, very much in line with the vintage, which will easily integrate its aging. Suitable for aging, it will evolve gracefully.

About the estate:

Founded in 1953, this major cooperative in southwestern France played a significant role in the creation of the Buzet appellation 20 years later. It produces 95% of the appellation’s wines (red, white, and rosé) and brings together 184 winegrowers (more than 1,900 ha). It advocates for sustainable viticulture, balancing technical progress with natural practices. A significant portion of its member estates are HVE-certified (70 ha are certified organic).
