Château de Padère

Château de Padère is located in Gascony, within the Buzet appellation. The names of localities always have a meaning: Padère, which means both “the land at the end of the moor” and “the land at the beginning of the earth,” thus has two meanings. But that is not its only treasure. Château de Padère is situated on the edge of the Landes Forest and benefits from the exceptional influence of the ocean breeze. It stands at the point where the terrain is no longer quite sand but not yet soil. In short, it is ideal soil for vineyards.
