Wine rated (2019 guide) 15/20 (Very good wine)
Rated 2*Stars (A solid, recommended wine, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the wine:
Beautiful, deep, and flavorful energy, with a balance of red fruit notes.
About the estate:
On their family estate in the Côtes du Marmandais, Véronique Broutet and her husband Frédéric founded Domaine de Beyssac in 2006. The winery was built in 2009, and the journey continues today on these 14 hectares of contiguous vineyards, situated on a well-exposed hillside and cultivated using biodynamic methods since 2017. All grapes are harvested by hand, and natural, spontaneous ground cover is encouraged. The wines from this beautiful terroir are dense and smooth. They start out serious and vigorous, then mellow and reveal their full character after three years. The 2015 and 2016 vintages are particularly successful.
Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2026 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines regularly receive awards from the guide)
About the estate:
A successful career change for Frédéric Broutet, who built this winery from the ground up in 2009. With his 12.5 ha of vineyards in Marmande, this “new winemaker” has achieved remarkable technological milestones: a green-built winery, organic farming from the very beginning, and biodynamic farming since 2016.

Wine rated (2019 guide) 16,5/20
About the wine:
Its intense black cherry flavor gives me goosebumps! Deep, smooth, and ripe, with a hint of licorice on the palate and a tannic structure. The finish evokes the sweet, spicy flavor of freshly harvested vine leaves. Brilliant and delicious—I didn’t leave a single drop.

A nice surprise—we'll have to wait for it to fully reveal itself, but it's already very promising

A full-bodied wine with aging potential that should be cellared for a few years before drinking
