Château Montana
Created at the end of the 19th century, Château Montana is currently run by Patrick Saurel, assisted by his children. By renovating several buildings and constructing new cellars in the early 2000s, he has been able to give free rein to his imagination when producing his Roussillon wines.
The Château Montana vineyard covers 30 hectares of clay-limestone soil in the Aspres region, where Carignan, Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Mourvèdre are grown, as well as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and more local varieties such as Marselan and Caladoc. The Château Montana vineyard is certified HVE 3 for sustainable farming practices.
