Domaine Barreau - Gaillac Les Braisiers 2022 (sec)
2*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
"A beautiful white wine, very aromatic and well-balanced."
A blend of Mauzac (60%) and Ondenc, this superb wine, with its beautiful straw yellow color and intense golden highlights, opens with a basket of fruits (citrus, passion fruit, quince) enhanced with a touch of vanilla and honey. A broad aromatic palette that infuses a perfectly balanced palate, offering both roundness and tension, before a salty finish full of panache. A white wine with character, to drink now or keep." A surprising, little-known, and original grape variety, but a wine with a very nice balance.
