Remhoogte Wine Estate
Founded in 1812, Remhoogte Estate was purchased in 1994 by Murray and Juliet Boustred. This 60-hectare property, located on the southwestern slope of Simonberg, near Stellenbosch, is planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Pinotage.
Following the acquisition, the owners made significant investments, including the restoration of the buildings, the construction of a new winery, and the installation of new equipment. It was at this point that Dany and Michel Rolland became involved. In 2001, they entered into a partnership with Remhoogte Estate to contribute their expertise in vineyard management and blending.
The terroir of Remhoogte Estate enjoys ideal climatic conditions for the production of red wines. Its unique feature: the wild animals that watch over the vineyard.
