Jeff and Simon Grier founded Villiera Wines in 1983 in the Stellenbosch region. They then launched a major campaign to replant classic and local grape varieties. With the introduction of modern facilities for producing still wines as well as Cap Classic Method wines, and a unique vision for the wine industry, Villiera Wines has become one of the country’s leading players, yet remains an independent, family-owned business.
