Constantia
The Constantia area is world-renowned for its sweet wine, Vin de Constance. Its growing region is relatively small, situated between the Constantiaberg and Vlakkenberg mountains.

The vineyards in the Constantia region are mostly south-east facing and benefit from the breezes from False Bay. The Constantia region is renowned for its Sauvignon Blanc, but it also produces Chardonnay, Riesling, and Sémillon, as well as red varieties such as Merlot, Shiraz, and Cabernet Franc.

The soils in the Constantia area consist of granite overlaid with reddish-brown sandstone.
