Constantia
The Constantia area is world-renowned for its sweet wine, Vin de Constance. Its geographical area is relatively limited, located between the Constantiaberg and Vlakkenberg mountains.

The vineyards in the Constantia area are mainly south-east facing and benefit from the breezes from False Bay. Constantia is renowned for its Sauvignon Blanc, but Chardonnay, Riesling, and Semillon are also grown here, as well as red varieties such as Merlot, Shiraz, and Cabernet Franc.

The soils in the Constantia area are formed from granite covered by reddish-brown sandstone.
