Klein Constantia

Present in all the royal courts of Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries, Klein Constantia then suffered the phylloxera crisis. It wasn't until 1986, after a century of dormancy, that Klein Constantia regained its letters of nobility and is now regularly listed among the TOP 10 most famous estates in the world. Minority co-owner Hubert de Boüard, known for his other property Château Angelus, joined the adventure in 2005.

Klein Constantia 's vineyards cover 146 hectares on the eastern slopes of the Constantiaberg hill. The grape varieties grown at Domaine Klein Constantia are mainly Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the Muscat de Frontignan used for the Vin de Constance.
