Domaine Bader
According to the diocesan archives of Epfig, the origins of the Bader vineyard date back to the 17th century. Passionate about vines and wine, the Bader family has endured through the centuries: many generations have succeeded one another at the helm of this 11-hectare estate.
Pierre Scharsch, an oenologist, purchased the Bader vineyard in 2006 and restructured it, notably by converting it to organic farming in 2016. The 2018 vintage and earlier vintages were in the process of converting to organic farming; the wines have been certified organic starting with the 2019 vintage.
