Domaine Bader
According to the diocesan archives of Epfig, the origins of the Bader vineyard date back to the 17th century. With a passion for vines and wine, the Bader family has endured through the centuries: many generations have succeeded one another at the helm of this 11-hectare estate.
Pierre Scharsch, an oenologist, purchased the Bader vineyard in 2006 and restructured it, notably converting it to organic farming in 2016. The 2018 vintage and earlier were in the process of converting to organic farming; it is starting with the 2019 vintage that the wines are certified organic.
