Gewürztraminer
grand cru
favorite

The "sunshine" (Sonnenglanz) can be tasted here in the glass. In 2018, the Gewurztraminer grapes basked in the sun all summer long from early morning on the slopes of this southeast-facing grand cru, and were not harvested until September 24. The result is a sweet wine with an intense golden yellow color and an expansive, distinctive nose of rose and lychee, nuanced with a honeyed note of overripeness. Exotic fruits mingle with dried fruits in a generous, round palate that is rich without being heavy, with a long, spicy finish: a new Favorite this estate with a brilliant track record.
