In 2018, the Gewurztraminer grapes basked in the sun all summer long from early morning on the slopes of this southeast-facing grand cru, and were not harvested until September 24. The result is a sweet wine with an intense golden yellow color and an expansive, distinctive nose of rose and lychee, nuanced with a honeyed note of overripeness.
