"Beautiful texture!"

Sophie treats us once again with this new vintage Pinot Gris, still characterized by its freshness, balance, and length, making it the perfect example of a Pinot Gris accessible to all, at a very reasonable price. The result is a concentration of white flowers, pear, and mild spices with hints of fennel and brioche. A real treat!

About the estate:

Alongside a wine trading venture in South Africa, Julien Schaal set up his Alsatian business in 2011, a highly original venture since it is exclusively based on the purchase of grapes from grand cru vineyards. Currently, nine grands crus are on the menu, representing almost all the different types of soil in the region, and only Riesling is offered, with the exception of a Gewurztraminer from Osterberg and a blend from Altenberg in Bergheim. In a blind tasting, his 2017 wines blew us away. Hats off!
